Boating 2008

It has been a fine 2008 summer on the lake. Catherine has taken up wake boarding and become more interested in the boating lifestyle. We have been blessed with the company of friends and family. Boating is such a great way to bring everyone together.

We see children and bigger boats in our future. This past weekend was spent on the boat. There is nothing like falling asleep staring through the hatch at the stars. It is nice to get away from everything. This coming labor day weekend we plan to spend on the boat as well.

This year we found a slip at a local marina 25 minutes from our house. It saves so much time being able drive to the boat rather than trailering it around. We can be underway withing 10 minutes of pulling into the marina parking lot.
